Principal’s Message
Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year at Camden Intermediate School!
It is a tremendous honor and privilege to serve as the principal of Camden
Intermediate School. We are excited to have third-grade students and staff become
part of the CIS family. I am thrilled to welcome back our returning families and
extend a warm welcome to those who are joining our school community for the first
time. Together, we embark on a journey of purposeful learning and growth!
The theme for this academic year is "Press Play" (Purposeful Learning All Year) a
reminder to encourage our students to embrace every learning opportunity, immerse
themselves in knowledge, and press play on their educational journey with
enthusiasm and curiosity. Each child has unique potential waiting to be unlocked,
and through purposeful learning, we aim to nurture their minds and inspire a
lifelong love for learning.
Our faculty is committed to guiding our students in developing critical thinking
skills, empathy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with others. We aim to equip
them with the tools they need not only to succeed academically but to thrive as
compassionate and responsible global citizens.
As we press play on this new academic year, let us together instill in our students
the joy of learning and the courage to embrace challenges. With your support and
our collective dedication, we are confident that our students will achieve
remarkable growth and accomplishments. To support each student, the faculty and
staff look forward to building a collaborative relationship with you.
At CIS, we will continue to carry on the Camden County tradition of excellence. I am
committed to every student. Each student deserves a quality education in a safe and
