The Camden County Board of Education will hold a Special Called Meeting to conduct a joint session with the Camden County Board of Commissioners on Thursday, February 19, 2026, beginning at 6:30 P.M., at the Camden County Public Library, to discuss the recent facility use study. There will not be a closed session or a public comment segment during the Special Called Meeting. A link for the livestream can be found at https://boe.ccsnc.org/o/boe/page/information.

Due to road conditions, Camden County Schools will operate on a remote learning day for students and staff on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Students in grades K–5 should work on the learning packets that were sent home last week. Students in grades 6–12 should access and complete their assignments through their Canvas accounts. Camden County Schools’ remote work policy states that all work assigned during remote learning days is due three (3) days after we return to school. Thank you for your support of Camden County Schools. Stay safe and warm.

Due to winter weather and current road conditions, Camden County Schools will be closed for students on Monday, February 2, 2026. This will be a traditional snow day-no school and no remote learning for students. For staff, Monday will be an optional remote workday. Staff, please check your email for more information. Please stay safe and warm, and enjoy the snow!

The closed session will be followed by an open session at 10:30 a.m. The open session is open to the public in accordance with the North Carolina Open Meetings law. The meeting will not be livestreamed.
